COOKIE POLICY

Last updated October 1, 2026

This policy explains how Plain Labs LLC ('we', 'us') uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on word-reel.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way. They let a site remember you between pages and visits.

WHAT WE USE

Essential (always on)

These are needed for the Services to work and do not need your consent.

  • Sign-in session cookies (names start with better-auth): keep you signed in. They last until you sign out or the session expires.
  • vid_ws: remembers which workspace you are working in.
  • wr_consent: remembers your cookie choice. It lasts about six months.

Analytics (only if you agree)

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see how the Services are used, which marketing campaigns bring people to us, and to find errors. It is off until you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

  • PostHog cookies and local storage (names start with ph_ and __ph): hold a random visitor ID, and, if you are signed in, link your visit to your account. They last up to a year.
  • When you agree, PostHog records the pages you view, actions you take and technical details such as your IP address, browser and device, and the campaign link you arrived from.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.

YOUR CHOICES

When you first visit you can accept analytics or choose essential cookies only. Both buttons are equally easy to use. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the page footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the Services will not work properly without the essential ones.

CHANGES

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
